We support the
local community to bring art and culture of all backgrounds and disciplines
into the
public eye, by utlilising and providing various locations and spaces
in and around the Worthing area for Cru members to meet and network,
produce, perform and display their products, both as a community working
at
ground
level, and in a global market place under one multi-formatted media identity.
A variety of locations have already been sourced for art work displays
and a selection of events.
The repainting of Worthing’s pedestrian underpass has just come
to completion. Designed as an on-going five year regeneration plan, this
initial project had the potential to involve over twenty thousand school
children, & hundreds of local artists, by being run as a competition.
It gave the winners a versatile ‘canvas’ to display their
talents, and a space for the recognition of the schools and businesses
giving their support.
Skeleton Cru conceive of and co-ordinate the artistic and aesthetic
requirements in any current projects, as well as to co-ordinate a hub
of creative output that provides vibrant local attractions and events,
to enhance the multi-media products we offer, as well as on the ground
level, enhance the communities we are working with in a positive way
that perpetuates a viable economic return for all involved.
Objectives for the short term are:

promote and establish Skeleton Cru as a community interest
